This privacy policy explains how Vend-Me handles personal data. Vend-Me is a trade name of Van Reenen Holding B.V., based in Hoevelaken, the Netherlands (“Vend-Me”, “we”). We are the controller for the processing described below. Questions about privacy can be sent to arjan@vend-me.nl.
Revenue estimate and contact requests. When you request a revenue estimate or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, work email address, the name of your park or venue, country and approximate visitor numbers, plus anything you write in your message.
Website visits. When you visit vend-me.com, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type, which is needed to deliver the website securely. We do not use analytics or tracking tools to follow your behaviour on the site.
Guests using our machines. Guests who contact our support via the QR code on a machine share the details they choose to send us, usually their phone number, the machine location and a description of the issue. To handle a refund we may need payment reference details from our payment provider. We never receive full card numbers.
We share data only with service providers that help us run our business, under agreements that protect your data:
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell personal data.
We keep revenue estimate requests and business correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless a business relationship follows, in which case we keep the data for as long as the relationship lasts. Guest support and refund data is kept for up to one year. Financial records are kept for seven years as required by Dutch law.
Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be used to make the website and the contact form work securely. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email arjan@vend-me.nl. We respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the data protection authority in your own country.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised access, such as encrypted connections and access restricted to people who need it.
